Dr. Magda Peronel, ND received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Kennesaw State University and her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences). She is passionate about serving others both locally and abroad.
Dr. Peronel has worked in many capacities in the medical field from being a medical assistant in family practice, a MOHS technician and a store representative for a major supplement chain. She also has many volunteer hours at major hospitals and as an autopsy technician. In addition, she has provided international healthcare in Cameroon, Belize and Haiti where she also served as an interpreter. Being a doctor has been a dream since the age of 5 and these experiences and exposures in the health field and related industries have fueled her passion to heal people and increase the quality of their lives.
As a primary care doctor, Dr. Peronel is able to take care of many needs and provide patients with options for their health. She has experience treating many health conditions of an acute and chronic nature such as: asthma, ADD/ADHD, bronchitis, allergies, eczema, fibromyalgia, GERD, high blood pressure, insomnia, Parkinson’s, joint pain, migraines, preventive medicine, and women’s health issues. Dr. Peronel was born in New York City and was raised in Orlando, Florida with her brother by loving Haitian parents.
Dr. Peronel’s goal is to provide healthcare according to the 6 principles of naturopathic medicine: educate the patient, doing the least harm as possible, using nature for healing properties, prevention, treating the root cause and treating the whole person. Using these six principles allows her to bring in details of your history to provide options and solutions.
Dr. Peronel’s hobbies include dancing, Zumba, art, learning about natural makeup lines and watching foreign films or anything forensic.
